They met on April 27th, 2002
at Peddlers on George Street. Mark insists that it’s April 28th
as it was after midnight when they had their first dance. Angela
thinks that he is building an excuse for when he eventually forgets.
I wasn’t there, but I sure hear enough about. But as long as they
don’t forget my birthday is April 28th, I’m ok with it.
However, they better make sure all gifts on that day are chewable. The details surrounding they’re meeting are
interesting to say the least. Mark was downtown with a few friends
after being persuaded to celebrate the end of his Wal-Mart career as
he had graduated from college and had accepted a job in Ottawa with
the Federal Government. Angela was supposed to go down with friends
but something came up at the last minute and they couldn’t make it,
but lucky for Mark, (At least that’s what Angela tells him)
she decided to go down with other friends.
Once downtown, they met after
realizing that they had friends in common and they started chatting
(It still amaze me that they had a life before me, I mean come on
I’m very important after all). After a few minutes of talking, Mark
(Who wants to be mumbles best friend… go watch happy feet you’ll
understand) asked Angela to dance. Angela suggested that he dance
with a friend of hers instead (Angela now says that it was because
she was shy, Mark thinks it was because of his Justin Timberlake
like moves that scared her off, After all he says he did bring sexy,
but Justin brought it back.). Like me getting my favorite chair at
home, Mark persisted and Angela finally relented. They then dance
the night away.
At the end of the night Mark gave
Angela his phone number and they went their separate ways. Angela
called Mark the next night (Who says you have to wait three days)
and they made plans to meet that Wednesday. Apparently they had a
wonderful first date, but time flew by as Mark’s departure date for
Ottawa was fast approaching. As time drew near they got a reprieve
as Mark’s boss called to say his start date had been pushed back a
Month. It was great news as they got to spend a few extra weeks
together. Needless to say they were inseparable.
Mark left for Ottawa on May 28th,
2002. They decided to give the long distance thing a shot and Angela
visited when she could. Three years to the day later Anglea left for
Ottawa herself.
And now for the important part… I
arrived on June 26th 2005, Angela and Mark had just moved
into a new apartment the day before. And I’ve made sure right from
the start, that they knew who was in charge. All I have to do is
give the “Stewie Eye” (please see below) and I get what I want.

And here we are today…
